Quality classification data were obtained from <\/span><\/span><span style='font-style:italic;'><span>BWD_Production.assessmentResults.statusOverview<\/span><\/span><span><span>, while spatial point data were extracted from <\/span><\/span><span style='font-style:italic;'><span>BWD_Production.spatial.SPATIAL_ProtectedArea<\/span><\/span><span><span>. <\/span><\/span><\/p><p style='margin:0 0 0 0;'><span><span>The dataset was filtered to include river bathing sites only (e.g., specialisedZoneType = 'riverBathingWater'). <\/span><\/span><\/p><p style='margin:0 0 0 0;'><span><span>The map therefore shows river bathing waters in Europe and its overseas territories, coloured according to the water quality class achieved in the latest (2025) bathing season: Excellent (dark blue), Good (light blue), Sufficient (green), Poor (red), and Not classified (grey). Separate map frames were used for French overseas territories located outside Europe (e.g., Caribbean islands, Réunion). <\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span /><\/p><\/div>",
